Bagnall leads Men's Soccer to 1-0 win at Albright

READING, Pa.: Sophomore Joe Bagnall (York, PA/Dallstown) scored his third goal fo the season with 1:27 remaining in the first half to help Arcadia University Men's Soccer hold off the Lions of Albright College 1-0 in Saturday evening's Commonwealth Conference opener.

The Knights even their overall mark at 5-5 (1-0 CC) while the Lions drop to 5-4 overall (1-0 CC).

Sophomore keeper Ryan Lantzy (Pheonixville, PA/Pheonixville) made 4 stops for the Knights in net.

Albright held the advantage in shots 16-8 and 7-4 in corners. The goal by Bagnall was his second of the season.

The Knights travel to Wilkes University this Wednesday, Oct. 5 for a non-conference game before returning to league play at Messiah College this Saturday.
