Golf concludes fall season at LVC Invitational

LEBANON, Pa.: Arcadia University's Golf Team wrapped up their fall season on the links of Lebanon Country Club at the 2011 Lebanon Valley College Invitational. First year Daniel Schiffert (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) led Arcadia, shooting an 85 (+13) on the Par 72, 6564 yard course.

Senior Kevin Gallagher (Haddon Heights, NJ/Haddon Heights) shot an 87 (+15) followed by first year Colin Pippert (Lansdale, PA/North Penn) finishing with an 88 (+16) and sophomore Jay Zehring (Manassas, VA/Stonewall Jackson) shooting 89 (+17). Sophmore Shannon Massott (Philadelphia, PA/Archbishop Ryan) completed the round with a 93 (+21).

Messiah College shot a 301 as a team (+13), earning the top team score, followed by Albright in second place (303/+15) and Alvernia in third (310/+22). Arcadia (349/+61), placing 15th out of the 16-team field, finished four strokes above host Lebanon Valley (353/+65).
