LVC Defeats Women's Tennis

GLENSIDE, Pa., April 17, 2011-- Lebanon Valley College allowed Arcadia's Jasmine Peake, a win at No. 5 singles on Sunday afternoon, meanwhile the Dutchmen claimed all other matches, including a sweep of doubles competition for an 8-1 victory over host Arcadia University in Commonwealth Conference play.  

After taking the first set 6-3, Peake dropped a hard-fought second set 6-7 to LVC's Danielle Bordner but then was able to come out on top in the third set tie-breaker 10-8. In the team's closest doubles match of the day, Peake paired with Melissa D'Arcangelo '14 at No. 3 doubles facing off against LVC's Lauren Shanberg and Cortney Swisher, dropping the match 8-6.
