Kyle Veltre, the Arcadia University men's soccer team showed tremendous perseverance in rallying to earn a 1-1 draw against Drew University as part of the 29th Annual Drew Fall Festival on Saturday in Madison, N.J. After a tight opening thirty minutes Arcadia found themselves. Drew pulled ahead and netted the games first goal off of a free kick which was awarded right outside Arcadia's penalty area. The Knights increased their pressure to start the second half and battled back into the game before being dealt another blow when sophomore
Kyle Veltre was issued a second yellow and was sent off forcing the knights to play down a man for the last twenty minutes of the second half and two ten minute overtime periods.

Ryan Lantzy to come up with many big time saves which cemented his spot as the tournaments defensive MVP. Arcadia was able to find the equalizing goal with ten minutes left in the second half when freshman David Columbo found tournament offensive MVP

The Knights fought hard to close the game with the final result remaining 1-1 giving them the championship by goal differential.
The Knights return to action Wednesday night when they face Swarthmore College under the lights at Easton field for a 7 pm start. This game will also be the first game for the knights on their new field and will start with a ribbon cutting ceremony prior to the game.
