BALTIMORE, Md. – The Arcadia University men's swimming team recorded a 123-79 victory over Gallaudet University, but fell to host Goucher College 111-79 in a tri-meet Saturday afternoon. The Knights' record now stands at 2-4 for the season. Goucher (2-3) also defeated Gallaudet (0-6), 143-57.

Matthew Morano (Staten Island, N.J.) started the day by recording a first-place and school-record time of 3:47.39. It was the first of four event victories for Arcadia.
Individually, Morano won the 100 freestyle with a time of 49.58 seconds and Lam won the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:04.36. The 400 freestyle relay team of sophomores Colin Andrew (Westmont, N.J.),
Jake Lindenau (Maywood, N.J.),
Jonah McMasters (Fontana, Calif.) and Ganguzza closed the day with a winning time of 3:44.50.
Lam was the runner-up in the 200 IM with a time of 2:02.36, just 0.16 seconds off the winning time of 2:20.20 turned in by Goucher sophomore Colin Richter (Cleburne, Texas). Richter went on to edge Graham in the 100 butterfly, turning in a time of 54.13 seconds to Graham's time of 55.20 seconds, and later topped Ganguzza in the 100 backstroke as they turned in respective times of 56.76 seconds and 1:00.73.
The Knights will return to action at the Diamond City Invitational November 23-24, hosted by King's College.
