Madison, NJ (April 17, 2013) - The Arcadia University Knights dropped a tough 5-4 MAC Freedom match at FDU-Florham this afternoon. The Knights trailed 2-1 after doubles plays, got to within 4-3 during play, but fell 5-4.

In doubles play, the Knights got a point with a win at third doubles by Herminio Quinones and Darren Stochmal, 8-5. Arcadia then fell in first sinlges and second singles and trailed 4-1. Alex Colton won at third singles, 7-5, 6-1 to make it 4-2. The in sixth singles, Stochmal won 6-0, 6-0 to cut the deficit to 4-3, but FDU clinched the deciding point with a win at fourth singles. Marc Ruggia won at sixth singles, 4-6, 6-2, 6-1 to make the final 5-4.

Arcadia will return to action Saturday as they host King's College for a 12pm MAC Freedom match.
