Glenside, PA (April 9, 2013) - Marc Ruggia won his fifth singles match and earned the fifth point for the Arcadia University Knights (5-4, 1-0 MFRE) 5-4 win over the Eastern University Eagles this afternoon.

The Knights started with wins at all three doubles matches.   Vincent Voulo and Alexander Colton won at first doubles 8-5, Eric Elie and Pedro Leal won at second doubles 8-5, and  Darren Stochmal and Herminio Quinones won at third doubles, 8-2. Arcadia dropped four singles matches, but Darren Stochmal won his sixth singles match, 6-3, 6-0 and then Ruggia clinched the match with a fifth singles win, 6-3, 6-3.

Arcadia will return to action on Saturday when they travel to face Wilkes.
