Game One: Arcadia 9, Lycoming 2The Knights jumped out to an early 3-0 lead by putting a run on the board in each of the first three innings. In the first, sophomore
Sara Boyadjis (Cedar Knolls, N.J.) scored junior

Then in the third, Larro led off the inning with a single and advanced to third because of a sacrifice from Boyadjis and a groundout from senior
Jessica Wood (Columbus, N.J.). Senior
Leanda Helms (Topton, Pa.) plated Larro in the next at-bat on an RBI single to give the Knights the early 3-0 advantage.
From there, Arcadia would not give up the lead and shut down the Warriors for the rest of the game aside from a two-run third inning. After the third, the Knights did not give up a base runner past second base.
In the top of the seventh inning, Arcadia added insurance runs after exploding for six runs. Boyadjis, Shotwell, and Larro each contributed an RBI single while senior
Amanda Tomaschek (Toms River, N.J.) added an RBI walk with the bases loaded and Wood powered a two-run double to left center.
Sophomore pitcher
Erin Wilson (Bethlehem, Pa.) shut the door on the Warriors in the bottom of the seventh to pick up her seventh win of the year to get above the .500 mark at 7-6. In the complete game victory, Wilson gave up just two runs while scattering nine hits and striking out five.
Every batter in the Arcadia lineup recorded a hit with Shotwell and Larro leading the team with three each. Helms and Gunia each had a multi-hit game with two. Boyadjis and Wood each contributed a hit, but each led the game with a two-RBI game.
Sophomore Kristi Weaver (Milton, Pa.) suffered the loss for Lycoming, dropping her record to 7-8, after surrendering nine runs on 15 hits and two walks.
Game Two: Arcadia 2, Lycoming 1 (9 inn.)The game was a real pitchers duel as neither would give up a run in regulation as it took extra innings to get the win for the Knights.
In the first seven innings, Arcadia could only get five hits total and could not get a base runner past second base.
Lycoming had their chances to put across a run in the first after getting the bases loaded with only one out but Gunia was able to get a strikeout and induce a groundout to end the threat.
Once again, Lycoming had bases loaded with two outs in the bottom of the fourth, but failed to score after another groundout ended the inning.
Finally in the eighth inning, the Knights scored the first run of the game. Wood sent Shotwell across home after a two-out RBI single to take the lead. Shotwell led off the inning and productive groundouts from Larro and Boyadjis advanced her to third before being pushed across the plate.
The Warriors would respond in the very next half inning after Weaver hit a two-out double down the left field line to score junior Nikki Marianelli (Old Forge, Pa.) and tie the game at one. A groundout in the next at-bat sent the game to the second and last extra frame of the game.
Arcadia once again led off the inning in the ninth with a single, this time from sophomore
Alicia McMahon (Bel Air, Md.). A successful sacrifice bunt from Gunia sent McMahon to second and a single from O'Reilly sent her to third. In the very next at-bat, senior
Ashley John (Columbus, N.J.) hit into a groundout but sent McMahon across home which would be the eventual game-winning run.
Gunia shut the Warriors down in order in the bottom half of the ninth to close the game and pick up her fifth win of the year, improving her record to 5-7. In the nine-inning complete game, she scattered eight hits and a walk while giving up just that one run in the eighth inning.
For Lycoming, junior Caroline Lapano (Harrisburg, Pa.) picked up the loss in the complete game, dropping her record to 3-6. In nine innings, she surrendered nine hits and no walks, but give up the two runs in extra innings to take the loss.
