GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's tennis team dropped an 8-1 non-conference match to visiting Alvernia University Saturday at Weiss Courts. The Crusaders improved to 3-0 with the win, while the Knights fell to 1-2 with the loss.
 
Senior Viola Sawyer was a 6-2, 6-2 winner at second singles over graduate student Jen Pretrilla for Arcadia's only point of the match.
 
The Knights will next travel to Moravian College October 1 for a 3:30 p.m. non-conference match.
