ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Arcadia University men's soccer team downed Lebanon Valley 2-1 Wednesday afternoon in its final road contest of the regular season. The win vaulted the Knights into the MAC Commonwealth Championship for the fourth consecutive season.
 
FOR THE RECORD:

• The Knights improved to 10-4-2 on the year and 3-3-1 in conference play
• The Dutchmen hold a 10-4-1 overall record with a 4-3 MAC Commonwealth mark

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Senior Brad McKim opened the scoring on an unassisted effort just over three minutes in
• The Dutchmen got on board in the 18^th minute
• The Knights' second tally came via an own goal as McKim sent a cross into the box that was kicked in by the Dutchmen

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Arcadia took 10 shots on goal, including four on goal, and two corner kicks
• Senior Chris Watson made seven saves in goal for the Knights

NOTES:

• The win gave Watson 32 for his career, tying him for the second most all-time
• The Knights currently sit in fourth place in the MAC Commonwealth standings with 10 points
• Arcadia can finish as the fourth seed with a win over Albright Saturday; a win and an loss by Lebanon Valley to Widener will seed Arcadia third.
