MEDIA, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's tennis team picked up its first win of the spring season Saturday afternoon, downing Penn State Brandywine 7-2. The Knights improved to 2-8 on the season, while the Lions fell to 1-7.

Amy MacNeill teamed up to take down Katie Corey and Elizabeth Sexton 8-2 in the second flight. The freshmen duo of
Maeghan Myers and
Casey Boldt took the third flight 8-2 from Ami Iannello and Katrina Persaud.
SINGLES ACTION: Naiken cruised to a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles over Sexton. Foglia picked up a 6-2, 6-3 win over Agno in the second flight. Myers took down Iannello 6-1, 6-1 at No. 5, with Boldt blanking Persaud 6-0, 6-0 at No. 6.
UP NEXT: The Knights open MAC Commonwealth played at home next Saturday against Hood.
