READING, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's tennis team continued MAC Commonwealth play Wednesday afternoon, falling 8-1 at Alvernia. The Knights fell to 3-11 on the season and 2-3 in conference play, while the Crusaders improved to 8-3 overall and 4-1 in the MAC Commonwealth.

Sarah Rosario fell to Emily Thek and Cassandra Bean 8-0 at No. 3.
SINGLES PLAY: Foglia picked up the Knights' point in the second flight with a 6-1, 6-7 (1-7), 11-9 win over Phillips. Naiken fell to Noray 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1, while Bradley fell 6-0, 6-0 to Boyd at No. 3. Thek downed Boldt 6-0, 6-3 in the fourth flight, as Rosario fell 6-0, 6-1 to Diosteanu at No. 5. Freshman
Sarah Aschemeier was defeated by Xena Sperrazza 6-0, 6-3 in the sixth flight.
