PITTSBURGH, Pa. -- The Arcadia women's volleyball team picked up a pair of wins on Saturday to wrap up play in the Tartan Invitational hosted by Carnegie Mellon with a 3-0 record.

The Knights, coming off a big 3-1 win over the host Tartans on Friday night, opened with a breezy 3-0 win over Saint Mary's before prevailing over Alma, 3-2, to close play.

Arcadia 3, Saint Mary's 0 (25-21, 25-20, 25-17)
Lauren Enfield led the Knights with 14 kills and added 16 digs in the sweep.
Shannon Ryan added nine kills and three blocks, while
Becca Campf had seven kills and five blocks.
Julia Paliwodzinski had 29 assists and 14 digs.

As a team, the Knights hit .206, compared to .016 for the Belles, and doubled up the Belles in total blocks, 12-6.

Arcadia 3, Alma 2 (25-21, 29-31, 25-16, 16-25, 15-10)
The Knights and Scots played a spirited five-set match, including a second set that Alma pulled out 31-29. Enfield once again led the squad with 22 kills and hit .283. Ryan added 17 kills, and Campf chipped in 11 to go along with six blocks. Paliwodzinski totaled 58 assists and 23 digs, while
Emily Eng had a career-best 37 digs.

After the marathon second set, the teams traded relatively stress-free 25-16 wins, before the Knights prevailed in the fifth. Arcadia went up 5-2 in the deciding frame, and extended its lead to 9-4 thanks to back-to-back attacking errors by the Scots. Alma got a point back, but a 3-1 run by Arcadia made it 12-6 in favor of the Knights.

The Scots staved off three-straight game match points after falling behind 14-7, but Campf and
Katie Wilson combined to block Sara Majerle's attack for the final point.

Arcadia is back in action on Thursday at Widener beginning at 7 p.m.
