ST. DAVID'S, Pa. -- Arcadia's women's volleyball team dropped a pair of matches at Eastern on Saturday.

The Knights (21-11) fell to Eastern 3-1 then dropped a 3-2 decision to York (Pa.) to wrap up regular season play.

Eastern 3, Arcadia 1 (25-22, 25-14, 21-25, 25-19)
The Knights fell behind 2-0 to the Eagles, and despite winning the third set to pull within 2-1, saw Eastern take the fourth for the 3-1 win. The Eagles hit .301 as a team, making just 11 errors in the match, while AU hit just .074 with 32 errors on 122 attempts.

Lauren Enfield (11),
Maddie Sehrt (11) and
Shannon Ryan all reached double figures in kills to lead the Knight offense. No other Arcadia player had more than three kills.
Julia Paliwodzinski handed out 30 assists, and
Nicole Suarez led the Knights with three service aces.
Emily Eng had 13 digs and Sehrt added four blocks.

Caroline Shelby had 11 kills and six aces for the Eagles. Sarah Roberts added eight kills, hit .538 and totaled three blocks.

York (Pa.) 3, Arcadia 2 (14-25, 25-19, 25-21, 21-25, 15-10)
After taking the first set in convincing fashion, the Knights saw York rattle off a pair of wins for a 2-1 lead before AU forced the fifth set with a win in the fourth before ultimately falling 3-2.

York committed 10 attack errors in the first set alone, then committed just 11 over the final four sets combined. A 5-1 run in the fifth set helped York turn a 2-1 deficit into a 6-3 lead that it would never relinquish.

Enfield posted a double-double of 16 kills and 13 digs. Sehrt added11 kills with just one error in 25 attempts, and
Lizzie Joseph added 11 kills for Arcadia. Paliwodzinski had 25 assists and eight digs, while Eng led the squad with 18 digs.

Madyson Whitcomb had 14 kills, Brooke Krebs posted a double-double of 11 kills and 10 digs, while Alexandra Daley (22) and Gabbey Emeigh (22) shared setting duties.

The Knights, seeded No. 2 in the MAC Commonwealth Championships, will play host to No. 3 Lebanon Valley on Wednesday beginning at 7:30 p.m.
