WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -- The Arcadia women's volleyball team rebounded from a first-set loss to post a 3-1 win at Lycoming on Tuesday night.

The Knights (17-5, 5-1 MACC) dropped the first set, 25-23 but came back and won three straight 25-20, 25-11, 25-1. The Warriors slipped to 11-14 overall and 3-4 in the MAC Commonwealth.

After hitting just .094 in the first set, with nine attack errors on 32 attempts, the Knights hit over .310 in each successive set, and totaled just eight attack errors the rest of the night.

In the second set, the Knights broke a 10-10 tie to take a 19-15 lead before a late spurt from the Warriors. Lycoming pulled to within 19-18, but three straight points from AU gave the Scarlet & Gray a 22-18 lead and an attack error by LC sealed the win for the Knights.

The Knights dominated the second set from the get go, taking a 15-4 lead thanks in part to four attack errors and a pair of ball handling errors by the Warriors. Lycoming never got within as many as nine the rest of the way.

Lycoming held an 11-10 lead in the fourth set, but a 9-2 run from Arcadia gave the Knights an 19-13 lead late.
Shannon Ryan sealed the win kills on two of AU's final four points, including the decisive point in the match.

Lauren Enfield led the Knights with 12 kills and added six digs.
Lizzie Joseph had nine kills, and Ryan,
Maddie Sehrt and
Katie Wilson each had eight kills.
Julia Paliwodzinski handed out 41 assists, and
Emily Eng collected 23 digs. Sehrt had five blocks assists in the match to go with a solo effort.

Arcadia returns home to Alumni Gymnasium on Friday evening when it hosts Clarkson at 7 p.m.
