GLENSIDE, Pa. -- The Arcadia women's volleyball team tallied 13 service aces on its way to a 3-0 sweep of Lebanon Valley on Wednesday evening at Alumni Gymnasium.

Three different players notche three service aces and the Knights (4-1, 1-0 MAC Commonwealth) toppled the Dutchmen 25-19, 25-17, 25-17.

The Knights opened up the first set scoring the first four points of the evening and stretched their lead to 11-4 prompting a timeout from LVC. Soon thereafter, the Dutchmen scored four straight points to pull within 13-9, but would not pull any closer as the Knights won the first set.

The Dutchmen were primed to take the second set, racing out to an 8-3 lead that led to an AU timeout. However, the Knights reeled off six straight points, including a pair of aces from
Allison Elechko, to take a 9-8 lead. Trailing 11-10, the Knights used an 8-1 scoring burst to take an 18-12 lead.
Lauren Enfield had three consecutive service aces during the game-altering run.

Arcadai was never really threatened in the third and final set, and
Jazlyn Surell sealed the win with the Knights 13th ace of the evening.

Shannon Ryan led a balanced offense with nine kills, and Enfield and
Maddie Sehrt each had seven. Elechko added six.
Emily Eng led the team with 14 digs, and
Julia Paliwodzinski chipped in eight digs to go with 28 assists. Enfield, Elechko, and
Kayla Resh all had three service aces, and Ryan added a pair. Sehrt also had a pair of solo blocks.

Arcadia is back on the court next Tuesday at Albright beginning at 7 p.m.
