OWINGS MILLS, Md. – The Arcadia men's swimming team defeated Stevenson, 210-29 to close out the regular season on Saturday.
TJ Dalton won three events for the Knights on the day and was on a winning relay team. Dalton won the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:00.97. Dalton also won the 200-yard breast (2:12.67) and the 200-yard IM. 2:01.87.
Dalton was on the winning 200-yard medley relay team with
Tristan Highet,
Michael Melissen and
Mark Preedy, posting a winning time of 1:41.74.
Preedy was first in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:50.82. He also won the 50-yard freestyle (22.50) and the 500-yard freestyle (5:04.86).
Highet was first in the 100-yard butterfly (54.08), and the 200-yard butterfly (2:08.35) on the day for AU.
Highet was also apart of the winning 200-yard freestyle relay team. Highet was joined by
A.J. Cawley, Melissen, and
Zach Bondurant. The four posted a time of 1:33.10 in the event.
Melissen finished second in two individual events for the Knights. He was second in the 200-back with a time of 2:28.82 and the 100 breast, touching the wall in 1:06.47.
Andrew Givone also had a strong day for the Knights. Givone was first in the 200-yard back (2:09.45) and the 100-yard back (58.48). He also was second in the 1,000 freestyle, finishing with a time of 10:33.17.
Arcadia is back in action at the MAC Championships from Feb. 14-17.
