Men's Swimming Posts Best Start in Program History with Dual Meet Victory Over King's

GLENSIDE, Pa.  - The Arcadia University men's swimming team is off to its best start in program history following Saturday afternoon's Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) dual meet victory over visiting King's, 166-94. The Knights totaled ten event victories in the effort, led by Travis Dalton's three and two more from Janis Kirsis as the duo accounted for half of Arcadia's wins.

INDIVIDUAL RESULTS

-Dalton was first to the wall in a trio of 200-yard events, including the freestyle (1:48.75), breaststroke (2:14.98) and individual medley (2:00.20). His 2:00.20 in the IM marked a season-best for the senior.
-Kirsis swam to victories in the 100-yard freestyle (50.01) and 100-yard butterfly (55.68) events, while also setting a season-best in the 1,000-yard free and (10:35.68) in a runner-up effort.
-Mark Preedy (50-yard freestyle; 23.32), Zach Bondurat (200-yard backstroke; 2:10.27), Justin Lewis (100-yard breaststroke; 1:02.65) and Joe Pedisich (200-yard butterfly; 2:10.15) also tallied individual event victories for the Knights. Lewis' time in the 100-yard breast set a personal-best.

UP NEXT
Arcadia (6-0-1, 5-0-1 MAC) travels to West Chester University for a three-day event beginning Nov. 22.
