WARMINSTER, Pa. - Freshman standout
Arturo Hernandez finished first overall to lead the Arcadia University men's golf team to victory over Delaware Valley, Tuesday afternoon. The Knights swept the top-three leaderboard with
Ryan O'Neill and
Chris D'Alessandro finishing second and third overall, respectively.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Knights young and talented depth is proving to be a key asset early in the season. After shooting an 87 in his collegiate debut at the Frederick W. Anton III Memorial Invitational, Hernandez showed off his potential with a score of 77 (+6) to lead the pack.
- Sophomores O'Neill and D'Alessandro finished in the Knights top-three for the second consecutive match. O'Neill placed second overall with a score of 78 (+7), while D'Alessandro shot an 80 (+9) to finish just behind his teammate.

Parker Watson had an impressive showing in his collegiate debut. The freshman tied for fifth overall with a score of 87 to place fourth on the team. Fellow freshman
Lorenzo Marin also made his debut, shooting an 89 to round out the team's top five and tie for eighth overall.

Max Mastrogiacomo, who was selected last week's MAC Commonwealth Golfer of the Week, tied for 10th overall on the afternoon with a score of 90.

The Knights will compete in Rosemont College's Montgomery Cup on Saturday, Oct. 5.
