Outside of competing for the Knights Cross Country and Track & Field programs, how do you stay involved on campus?

During my freshman year, I began working as a student photographer for the athletic communications office and shot several different sports throughout the year. I've always loved taking pictures of sporting events and getting to capture excitement in photography. I also love being able to share the photos with the teams, because who doesn't want a great photo of them playing the sport that they love? I was part of the yearbook club in high school, and since my photography teacher at the time said I always had an eye for action shots, I then became the one going to the games and taking pictures for the yearbook. At the end of eighth grade, I got my first DSLR camera for my birthday and ever since then I fell in love with taking pictures and kept developing new skills since from then on.

Because of my high school background, and since I always saw Matt Mizanin taking pictures for all the games, I figured there could be a position to help out and taking some of the pictures. I was in a meeting with my coaches and I was telling them all about how I was interested in it and then Coach Joe Dyas got up and said, "Well, let's go ask them." From there, we walked next store to talk about the position!

Additionally, I work for the photo lab for the university's fine arts department.

Away from Arcadia, how do you assist with your family's business and what areas are you involved in?

My family business is Steve's Prince of Steaks, and we currently have three locations throughout Philadelphia -  on Bustleton Avenue, Comly Road, and one in Langhorne. It has been our family business for 45 years and it was all started by my grandfather, Steve! I help out as often as I can, mostly working weekends and days I have off of classes. I also run the Steve's Prince of Steaks Instagram page.

How have you been staying ready for the cross country and track & field seasons over the summer and this fall while away from campus?

Since my classes are mostly in the afternoon, I've been going on my runs in the morning, and even going to the gym to stay and maintain my shape. I also live with two of my teammates, Chloe Stravinsky and Mallory Lines-Livering, and since living with them we have been working out with each other and encouraging each other.

What are you most looking forward to for the return to campus?

I am so excited to be back with my teammates and having good times during practices and meets. Hopefully this spring, I am also excited to participate in our first season of outdoor track since we were unable to participate last semester. I can't wait to see what my teammates and I can achieve in these upcoming seasons, I foresee great things for us!
