Arcadia Knights Awards Week: Woman of the Year
The NCAA established the Woman of the Year Award in 1991 to celebrate the achievements of women in intercollegiate athletics. The award is unique because it recognizes not only the athletics achievements of outstanding young women, but also their academic achievements, community service, and leadership. NCAA member institutions from all three divisions nominated their own Woman of the Year. To be eligible, these women must have competed and earned a varsity letter in an NCAA-sponsored sport and must have completed eligibility in their primary sport.
TAYLOR DUNN - Women's Basketball

A two-time, First-team All-MAC Commonwealth selection, Dunn started all 76 games in her three-year career after transferring to Arcadia her sophomore year. The Chalfont, Pa. native became the fifth player in program history to eclipse 1,000 career points and graduates fourth on the program's all-time scoring list with 1,230 points. Dunn was also a 2019 Academic All-MAC selection and was named to the MAC Academic Honor Roll twice in her career.
A psychology major, Dunn maintained a 3.968 GPA during her time at Arcadia and was a member of Psi Chi (International Honors Society in Psychology) and the Phi Kappa Phi Honors Societies. (Video) "Congratulations, Taylor, what a huge accomplishment on earning the NCAA Woman of the Year Award through Arcadia Athletics. Nobody is more deserving of this award than you because it's an all-encompassing award. All of your athletic achievements, your academic achievements and excellence, and all of your community service you've done makes you truly deserving of this award. You definitely leave some big shoes to fill, not just for the women's basketball program, but for all of Arcadia Athletics. We're definitely going to miss having you around and wish you the best of luck in everything that you do." - Rose Katz
