Box Score COLMAR, Pa. - The Arcadia University women's ice hockey team dropped the puck for the first time in program history Saturday night, falling to Worcester State, 5-0, at Hatfield Ice Arena.
Arcadia head coach Kelsey Koelzer became the first African American woman to coach an NCAA women's hockey team in the history of the sport in the Knights' program opener.
Goaltender Sophia Szelag made 38 saves for the Knights in the loss.

Worcester State found the back of the net twice in the first period, one on the power play and one at even strength.

The Lancers scored their third goal of the game just over three minutes into the second period. Worcester State led 3-0 at the end of the middle period.

Worcester State scored two goals in the third period less than a minute apart from each other. One of the Lancers' goals came on the power play.
