MADISON, N.J. - The Arcadia University women's swimming program put together a strong performance on the final day of the Ranger Invitational Saturday, placing third of the five teams with 130.5 points.
Risa Krauss and
Julia Stephens both posted event wins on the day to lead the Knights.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Katherine Pastva earned three points for the Knights with a sixth-place finish in the 500-yd freestyle, clocking a time of 5:38.32.Â
-The Knights had two top-ten finishers in the 100-yd backstroke, led by Julia Stephens' second-place finish (1:00.12) followed closely behind by Emily Raedisch in tenth (1:03.66). Risa Krauss made it two-straight runner-up finishes for Arcadia by clocking a time of 1:05.48 in the 100-yd breaststroke.
-Julia Stephens, Olivia Hyde, Gigi Brown, and Katherine Pastva raced to a fourth-place finish in the 800-yd freestyle relay (8:26.40) to claim ten points towards the team total.
-Stephens picked up the Knights' first win of the invitational in the 200-yd backstroke with a fast time of 2:13.56. Krauss followed suit to pick up the second win of the meet, touching the wall first in the 200-yd breaststroke at 2:24.55 - nearly six seconds ahead of the second-place finisher.
