YORK, Pa. – Mikayla Scardino earned bronze as the Arcadia University women's swim team sits sixth overall after the first day of the 2026 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championships.

DAY ONE RESULTS

The Knights earned one medal and recorded multiple scoring swims on the opening night of competition.

HOW IT HAPPENED

-Scardino earned a bronze medal in the 50-yd freestyle with a time of 24.48.

-Ava Despeaux placed fifth overall in the 200-yd individual medley, touching in 2:13.39.

-Sophia Randle added a scoring finish in the 50-yd freestyle with a time of 26.33.

-The 200-yd medley relay squad of Scardino, Juliane Heller, Despeaux, and Randle finished fourth overall with a time of 1:53.56.

UP NEXT

The Knights return to action tomorrow for Day Two of the MAC Championship meet. Prelims begin at 9:30 a.m. followed by finals at 5:30 p.m.
