Box Score DALLAS, Pa. - The fifth-seeded Arcadia University women's tennis program came up just short in its bid to advance to the MAC Freedom Semifinals in Tuesday's quarterfinal matchup at fourth-seeded Misericordia, as the Knights saw their 2021 season come to an end with a 3-5 loss to the Cougars.
Casey Boldt and
Emily Cruz-Pineda got the Knights started with a dominant 8-2 victory at second doubles before Cruz-Pineda went on to win her tenth-straight match at third singles to finish the year 10-1 while Boldt produced a convincing fourth singles victory to improve to 6-4 in her final season.
DOUBLES RESULTS

Tess Weber and
Julia Paraboschi nearly came away with a win a first doubles in a back-and-forth battle, falling 6-8.

Casey Boldt and
Emily Cruz-Pineda picked up their fifth-straight win at second doubles to end the season in an 8-2 victory.

Keely Ochs were defeated at third doubles, 1-8.
SINGLES RESULTS
-Weber was defeated at first singles, 3-6, 0-6.
-Paraboschi dropped the first set at second singles, 6-7, but rallied to force a second-set tiebreaker that ultimately did not go in her favor in a close battle, 6-7.
-Cruz-Pineda cruised to her tenth win in a row at third singles in a 6-1, 6-0 victory.
-Boldt finished the season with her fourth-straight win at fourth singles with a 6-4, 6-2 decision.
-Marino fell in her fifth singles matchup, 0-6, 3-6.
-Ochs dropped the first set at sixth singles, 2-6, but answered with a 6-4 win in the second to force a decisive third set. The first-year battled until the end, but dropped the third set, 3-6.
