WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Arcadia University women's tennis team opened its 2021 fall season at the MAC Individual Championships this weekend hosted by King's College.
DOUBLES RESULTS

Julia Paraboschi and
Karolina Iordache advanced to the quarterfinals of the first doubles bracket with an 8-4 win over King's, but fell in the next round to York, 4-8.

Claire Andrews and
Tatum Marino fell in the opening round of the second doubles ladder, 2-8.
-
Kate Wyszkowski and
Dot Bertrand advanced out of the first round with an 8-6 win over York in the third doubles bracket, but fell to top-seeded Stevens in the quarterfinals, 0-8.

Faith Rineer and
Gertride Jeack were defeated in the opening match of the fourth doubles bracket, 0-8.
SINGLES RESULTS
-Paraboschi fell in the first round of the first singles ladder to Alvernia, 1-6, 0-6.
-Iordache was topped by the fourth seed in the second doubles bracket, 4-6, 2-6.
-Andrews fought to force a third set tiebreak in the third singles ladder, but fell 6-0, 4-6 (9-11).
-Wyszkowski also forced a third set in the opening match of the fourth singles ladder opposite Lycoming, but was bested by a final of the 6-1, 4-6 (5-10).
-Mackenzie Crain was defeated in straight sets at fifth singles in the opening round, 1-6, 0-6.
-Marino had a bye into the quarterfinals, but fell to Wilkes in her opening match, 5-7, 2-6.

Keely Ochs was defeated in the opening round of the seventh singles ladder to Messiah, 3-6, 4-6.
