GLENSIDE - The Arcadia University women's swim team secured the victory over Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) competition King's College with a score of 216-32 on Friday evening. The Knights touched the wall in every first in all but one event which included a couple large time drops and several season best times.

Madison Desjardins dropped an impressive 6.42 seconds in the 1000-yard freestyle event for a new season best time of 12:09.67. She also recorded a season best time of 5:57.99 in the 500-yard freestyle.

Katherine Pastva contributed 18 points to the team with two first place finishes which includes a season best time of 11:42.70 in the 1000-yard freestyle. Pastva cut an impressive 7.22 seconds off her time from the Messiah dual meet last week for this new season best.

Mikayla Scardino earned two lifetime best times in tonight's dual meet. She touched the wall first in the 100-yard butterfly for a personal best time of 1:02.75, dropping almost two seconds off of her previous best. Scardino swam the 100-yard backstroke 1.26 seconds faster than she did against Misericordia for another personal best time.

Brooke Boyd earned the Knights 9 points with a first place finish and a personal best time in the 50-yard butterfly (28.51), dropping 2.62 seconds off her time against Messiah.

Madelyn Meyer swam to two season best times in the 50-yard backstroke (30.26) and 200-yard individual medley (2:29.37). She shedded 1.28 seconds off of her 200-yard individual medley time from her time just a week ago at Messiah.

Sarah Ritter touched the wall first in the 50-yard freestyle event with a time of 25.89, just .09 over her season best time.

Julia Stephens swam to two season best times in the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard backstroke events. She dropped 1.08 off of her 50 free time against Albright and .24 seconds off of her 100 back time against Scranton.
