Dallas, Pa. - The Arcadia University women's swim team completed day two of the Misericordia Cougar Splash Invitational. The Knights swam against Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) competition Misericordia University and Messiah University, as well as non-conference opponents Salisbury University and Moravian University.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The 200-yard medley relay squad of
Julia Stephens,
Risa Krauss,
Brooke Boyd, and
Mikayla Scardino earned second place (1:50.45) to kick off day two of the Knights' mid-season meet.
- Scardino earned herself two lifetime best times on Saturday afternoon. She touched the wall first in the 100-yard freestyle (53.63) dropping 1.05 off of her previous personal best time. Scardino also placed 4th in 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:00.17, shedding 2.56 off of her previous best from the dual-meet against Messiah.

Olivia Hyde swam the 100-yard Butterfly in 1:01.13 (5th place), dropping 2.58 for a new season best time and just less than a second from her current personal best time.

Maia Signore dropped .81 in the 100-yard butterfly event for a new season best time of (1:07.03).

Claire Hamilton swam 3.42 seconds faster in the 200-yard freestyle than she did against King's for a new season best time of 2:02.01.
- Krauss touched the wall fourth in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:09.21), earning a season best time 2.71 seconds faster than her previous season best against Misericordia.

Julia Stephens placed second in 100-yard backstroke (1:00.35) and also recorded a season best time of 1:00.20 in the 100 backstroke as the lead off for the 400-yard medley relay.

Natalie Link swam to two season best times this afternoon in the 200-yard free (2:08.48) and the 500-yard freestyle (5:33.89). She cut over a second off of her 200 free time and over 11 seconds off of her 500 free time.

Katherine Pastva dropped almost 12 seconds in the mile for a new lifetime best time of 20:00.77.
- The Knights 400-yard freestyle relay group of Hamilton, Stephens,
Hannah Daniels, and Scardino ended off the meet with a first place finish, beating Misericordia by over two seconds.
