Grantham, Pa. - The Arcadia University men's swim team dropped a tight competition 132-130 against Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) competition Messiah University on Saturday afternoon. HOW IT HAPPENED:

George Wade recorded three season best swims on the afternoon. He finished the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:00.40, six-tenths faster than he swam this event against Misericordia. Wade also finished 2nd in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:15.7) and the 200-yard individual medley (2:04.36).
- Stanaway earned himself four lifetime times in today's dual-meet. He cut 5 seconds off of his 200-yard backstroke time (2:09.61) and 1.2 seconds off his 100-yard backstroke time (57.19). Stanaway also recorded personal bests in the 50-yard freestyle (23.35), and 50-yard backstroke (26.66), as he dropped less than a second off each of his previous best times.

George Mitev touched the wall first, earning the team 9 points, in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:04.74. This is a season best time for Mitev as he dropped over two seconds off his previous time.

Ryan Erdman swam to a season best time of 50.33 in the 100-yard freestyle event. Then to end the meet Erdman went another season best to lead off the 400-yard freestyle relay with a time of 49.95.

Dylan Alexander finished second in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:01.86 for a new season best, 1.59 seconds faster than his previous SB time he recorded against Misericordia.
