GLENSIDE – In its inaugural season, the Arcadia University women's ice hockey team is set to open the 2022 United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) Tournament on Wednesday evening, traveling to Manhattanville for a 7:30 p.m. quarterfinal matchup.

The Knights enter the UCHC Tournament as the No. 6 seed after concluding their conference slate with a 9-10-0-1 record.
Arcadia and Manhattanville met twice in the regular season, with each team winning once. The Knights prevailed in the first meeting, 3-2. The win was Arcadia's first in program history. The Valiants took the victory in the second meeting, 5-3.
Berklee Hibbard leads the Knights in points with 21, with nine goals and 12 assists. She enters the conference tournament riding a six-game point streak. Morganne Dee leads Arcadia with 11 goals. Karahkwenhawe White rounds out the top three goal scorers for the Knights with eight on the season.
Hannah Bergeron leads Arcadia with six wins in goal. Bergeron has a record of 6-5-1 over the course of the season, with a 2.56 goals against average and a save percentage of .928. She also has two shutouts this season.
Manhattanville enters the tournament as the No. 3 seed in the conference with a record of 15-5 in UCHC play. Gabrielle Cox leads the Valiants with 27 points on 17 goals and 10 assists. Morgan Miller has also scored 17 goals and added 8 assists for 25 points. Franny Gerardi has made 20 starts in goal for Manhattanville, recording an 11-8-1 record. She has a goals against average of 2.34 and a save percentage of .923.
The winner of the game will advance to the UCHC Semifinals on Saturday. The two highest remaining seeds will host the games at a to be determined time.
