KINGS POINT, N.Y. - The Arcadia University women's lacrosse team fell to the United States Merchant Marine Academy, 13-2, on Saturday afternoon. 

Ashley Starkey scored both goals for the Knights. Emily Griffith made 13 saves for Arcadia.

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• The Mariners scored first, but Starkey tied the game at one with her seventh goal of the season. USMMA scored three straight to close the quarter as they led 4-1 after one quarter of play. The Mariners scored five goals in the second quarter to lead 9-1 going into halftime. 

• USMMA scored two goals in both the third and fourth quarters. Starkey scored the game's final goal with her eighth of the season.
