ANNVILLE, Pa. – Arcadia University men's volleyball's Danny Gonzalez was named the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Monday.
 
Gonzalez earns his first conference weekly award of the season as he helped lead the Knights to a 5-0 week. Gonzalez had 68 kills, 45 digs, 11 blocks and five aces. He had 3.57 kills per set, 2.36 digs per set and had a .312 hitting percentage. He opened the week with 14 kills, seven digs, two aces and two blocks against Widener. He then five kills, 12 digs and a block in a sweep over Wilkes. In the Knights' weekend opening victory over Baruch, Gonzalez had eight kills, seven digs and three blocks. In a win over Eastern Mennonite, the junior had 15 kills, eight digs, two aces and two blocks. He closed out the weekend with a career-high 26 kills in Arcadia's win over NJCU. He also had 11 digs for his first double-double of the season. Gonzalez also chipped in with three blocks and an ace.
 
The Knights return to action tomorrow, Tuesday, Feb. 14 as they welcome Marymount to Alumni Gymnasium. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
