Box Score 2 GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia University men's volleyball team competed in a home tri-match on Saturday, falling in both contests. The Knights (8-13, 2-4 MAC) dropped a 3-1 decision to Misericordia in the opener before falling in straight sets to Cairn in the nightcap.
Against Misericordia, Arcadia dropped the opening set but responded with a strong second-set victory to even the match. The Cougars, however, regained momentum and secured the final two sets to take the match.
In the second contest of the day, the Knights battled closely with Cairn, highlighted by a tightly contested opening set that went to extra points before Arcadia fell, 32-30. Cairn went on to take the next two sets, 25-23 and 25-17, to complete the sweep.
