YORK, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's swim team sits in fourth place after day one of Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championships.
First-year,
Mikayla Scardino set a new school record and recorded a lifetime best time in the 50-yd freestyle in prelims (24.16).

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Scardino earned a bronze medal and third team all-conference recognition in the 50-yd freestyle with a time of 24.46.
- The 200-yd medley relay of
Grace Brooks,
Risa Krauss,
Emily Raedisch, and Scardino finished fourth (1:49.63).

Olivia Hyde swam the 500-yd freestyle in 5:28.90, dropping 3.35 seconds off of her personal best time from the 2022 MAC Championships.

Hannah Daniels dropped .19 seconds for a lifetime best 50-yd freestyle time of 25.45.
- In the 500-yd freestyle,
Natalie Link recorded a season best time of 5:26.38, cutting 7.51 seconds off of her previous season best time from the Cougar Splash Invitational.

Madelyn Meyer cut a second off of her season best 200-yd individual medley time (2:28.26).

Sarah Ritter finished ninth in the 50-yd freestyle with a time of 25.09, just .03 seconds away from her season best time.
