WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Arcadia University men's golf team opened its season at the Williams Fall Invitational at the Taconic Golf Course on Saturday. The Knights finished the day with a team score of 331, which places them tied for 20^th after the opening round.
 
Brooks Hoffman was the top scorer for the Knights in round one as the senior finished with a five-over, 76, good enough for 30th place out of 113 golfers.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Hoffman tallied three birdies in his round, one on the front nine and two on the back nine.
• McKnerney, McGuire and Song all tallied a birdie in their rounds.
• Chad Maurer recorded six pars in his first collegiate round.
