BALTIMORE, Md. - The No. 20 Arcadia University baseball team is set for the Regionals of the 2024 NCAA Division III Baseball Tournament, set to begin on Friday when the Knights face Ramapo at Johns Hopkins with first pitch scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Arcadia's contest will follow the opener between the host No. 6 Blue Jays and St Joseph's (L.I.) at 11:00 a.m.

The losers of each first round game will face off Friday at 6:00 p.m., a change from the usual format due to inclement weather in the Baltimore forecast for Saturday and Sunday. The winner of each first round match up will play Saturday at 11:00 a.m., with the loser of game four facing the winner of Friday's third game at 2:30 p.m. The winner of Saturday's first game will advance to Sunday needing only one win to secure a spot in the super regional, while the winner of Saturday's second game will need to win twice to claim the super regional slot.
Tickets are $5 and are required for entry to competition each day. Ticket windows will open each day at 10:00 a.m., one hour before the start of the first game of the day.
Arcadia is making its third straight appearance in the NCAA Regionals and fifth overall since 2017 after earning its first-ever at-large bid. The Knights are led by First Team All-MAC Freedom selection
Anthony Bruno, who led the nation in RBI's with 74 while setting new program-records for home runs in a season and career, and RBI's in a season.

Kevin Wheeler joined Bruno on the first team as the Knights placed 12 on the All-Conference list while first year Head Coach
Chuck Thielmann was named Co-Coach of the Year.
On the mound, Arcadia was led by Second Team All-MAC Freedom honorees
Will Conroy and
Nadell Booker. Conroy had the standout performance earlier in the year when he pitched 6.2 innings allowing three runs with nine strikeouts on February 25th to lead the Knights to a 15-6 victory over then-No. 1 Johns Hopkins at Babb Field. The Knights will look to advance to their first-ever Super Regional in 2024.
Johns Hopkins is making its 26th appearance in the NCAA Regionals and is hosting for the second-consecutive season after winning its 18th Centennial Conference championship. The Blue Jays are led at the plate by Alex Shane, a First Team All-Conference selection after batting .355 with 49 hits, 10 home runs,, and 10 doubles. On the mound, Quinn Rovner was also named First Team All-Centennial after going 5-1 with a 3.09 ERA, striking out 35 batters in 43.2 innings. Johns Hopkins placed six on the All-Conference teams.
Ramapo is making its 14th appearance in the NCAA Division III Tournament and first under current head coach Ryan Rinsky. The Roadrunners will be looking to advance to their second-ever Super Regional, with last coming in 2015. Zack Bailey leads Ramapo at the plate, earning First Team All-NJAC after batting .403 with 62 hits, 14 doubles, two triples, and five homers. On the mound, James Pazdera led the way with a 3-0 record to go with a 2.66 ERA and 56 strikeouts in 47.1 innings.
St. Joseph's (L.I) won its third straight Skyline Championship. The Golden Eagles had seven players named All-Skyline, led by Anselmo Joya's .431 batting average with 53 hits, 10 doubles, six triples, three home runs, 36 RBI's, 40 runs, and 15 stolen bases. On the mound, Peter Manger was also named First Team All-Conference with a 6-3 record, a 2.67 ERA and 36 strikeout.
