NEWTOWN, Pa. – The Middle Atlantic Conference office has released the All-Conference Women's Volleyball Teams, and two Arcadia University Knights were recognized on Monday. Junior Chana Rothschild earned a spot on the All-MAC Freedom Second Team, while sophomore Devon Young secured a place on the All-MAC Freedom Honorable Mention Team.
Rothschild, a junior middle hitter from Minden, Nevada, earned All-MAC Freedom Second Team honors after being named Honorable Mention last season. This year, she led the Knights with 291.0 points, averaging 3.13 points per set, and totaled 234 kills with a .342 attack percentage. She also led the team with 69.0 total blocks, averaging 0.74 blocks per set. For her career, Rothschild now has 584 kills and 157.0 total blocks.
Young, a sophomore outside hitter from Westampton, New Jersey, earns the first All-MAC Freedom recognition of her career with an Honorable Mention selection. Young powered the Arcadia offense with 256 kills, finished second on the team with 288.5 total points, averaged 2.69 kills per set, led the Knights with 202 digs, and added 15 blocks. For her career, Young now has 342 kills, 261 digs, and 32 total blocks.
