GLENSIDE - The Arcadia University Rocket League team fell 4-3 in the finals of the National Esports Collegiate Conference (NECC) Finals, while Overwatch knocked off Waynesburg 3-0 to claim third place in the consolation match.

ROCKET LEAGUE

The Arcadia University Rocket League team matched up with West Virginia University-Potomac State College, and the match lived up to the hype of a championship final. Trailing 3-0, the Knights approached a reverse sweep as the match went the full best-of-seven, reaching its peak intensity in the final game. Arcadia forced overtime in the decisive game, but lost the face-off to start the extra period with WVU scoring to capture the championship.

OVERWATCH

The Arcadia University Overwatch team faced off with Waynesburg in the consolation match of the NECC tournament, capturing third place with a 3-0 win. The Knights delivered a commanding performance from start to finish. Arcadia came out strong in every map, controlling the pace of play, winning key teamfights, and maintaining impressive coordination throughout the match. Their momentum never wavered, and they closed out the series with a clean 3–0 sweep.
