NEWTOWN, Pa. – The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) announced its latest Players of the Week, with Arcadia University men's soccer junior Braiden Sottile earning MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Week honors for his performance during the final week of the regular season. This marks the first time Sottile has earned MAC Player of the Week recognition.

Sottile helped lead the Knights to a 2-0-0 week, securing the No. 2 seed in the upcoming MAC Freedom Tournament, Arcadia's highest seed since 2021. In a 5-0 road victory over FDU-Florham, Sottile scored the game's opening goal in the fourth minute, finding the back of the net for the third time this season. He followed that performance with another goal in the regular-season finale against (RV) Lebanon Valley, giving Arcadia a 2-1 lead in the 23rd minute. The Knights went on to earn a 3-2 victory over the Flying Dutchmen, handing Lebanon Valley its only conference loss of the season.

With the No. 2 seed secured, the Knights will host King's in the MAC Freedom Semifinals on Thursday. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m.
