GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's lacrosse team opens its 2026 campaign on the road Saturday, Feb. 21, traveling to Eastern University for a matchup with the Eagles. First draw is scheduled for 11 a.m.
Arcadia finished the 2025 season with a 9-8 overall record and a 3-4 mark in the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom). Now in her third season at the helm, head coach Adrienne Carr shared her expectations for the year.
"Our expecations are to continue to grow, to be consistent, and to play our highest level every single day," Carr said.

The junior class includes Sophia Dwyer, Olivia Forant, Mackenzie Clark, and Taylor Funcheon. Six sophomores are also back in the fold: Elizabeth Zanca, Jaylee Killgore, Alejandra Roemer, Allyson Reidenbach, Meghan Graham, and Kyra Moyer.
Speaking about her returning players, Carr emphasized continued development and leadership.
"The expecations are they continue to grow, be consistent, and play at a high level," Carr said. "I'm really excited about Mairead O'Connell and Jordyn Chan, our seniors leading the way, they've really set the tone in the weight room and on the field."
Carr also welcomes 15 first-year student-athletes to the program: Molly Lubenow, Claudia Grello, Naelah King, Samantha Gambone, Avery Ditze, Nikki McMenamin, Lylah Placek, Kelsey Danko, Natalie Kalick, Molly Durkin, A'Brianna Smith, Elaina Washburn, Isabella Fancera, Ella Longacre, and Angelina Vecchione. The coaching staff anticipates several newcomers making an immediate impact.

The Knights will play 10 nonconference contests, including four at Jean Lenox West Field, before opening MAC Freedom play April 1 at home against Delaware Valley. The MAC Freedom semifinals are scheduled for April 29, with the championship game set for May 2.
