Oswald, Garber, and Lenart Earn Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area Honors

GLENSIDE, Pa. – Arcadia University baseball senior Max Oswald and men's lacrosse seniors Dylan Garber and Gavin Lenart have been named to the Philadelphia Area Sports Information Directors Association (Philly-SIDA) Academic All-Area Team, as announced by the organization.

Oswald caps off an outstanding senior season with another prestigious honor after earning All-MAC Freedom First Team, ABCA All-Region IV First Team, and D3baseball.com All-Region Second Team recognition.

The senior slugger hit .333 on the season, totaling 46 hits, 10 doubles, 12 home runs, 49 RBI, 49 runs scored, 35 walks, 18 hit-by-pitches, and six stolen bases. Oswald also earned D3baseball.com Team of the Week honors and was named the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Division III National Hitter of the Week after a dominant stretch in which he batted .692 (9-for-13) with six home runs, one double, five walks, three stolen bases, and two hit-by-pitches. During that span, he posted a .783 on-base percentage, a 2.154 slugging percentage, and a 2.937 OPS.

Among his many accomplishments, Oswald became the first player in program history to record a three-home run game. He also earned CSC Academic All-District honors and was named to the MAC Academic Honor Roll. This marks the first Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area selection of his career.

Garber earned his first Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area honor following a stellar senior campaign for the Knights. The midfielder finished second on the team with 49 points, recording 20 goals and a team-high 29 assists. He also collected a career-best 19 ground balls and added eight caused turnovers.

During the season, Garber surpassed the 100-career-point milestone and concluded his career with 115 points. He earned All-MAC Freedom First Team honors, was selected to the CSC Academic All-District Team, and was named to the MAC Academic Honor Roll. This is the first Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area recognition of his career.

Lenart also earned his first Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area honor after a standout senior season. The short-stick midfielder recorded 14 goals and seven assists for 21 points while adding 46 ground balls and 14 caused turnovers. He finished his career with 26 goals, 11 assists, 90 ground balls, and 27 caused turnovers.

Lenart earned All-MAC Freedom First Team honors this season after being named to the All-MAC Freedom Second Team in 2025. He also garnered CSC Academic All-District recognition and was a member of the MAC Academic Honor Roll. This marks the first Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area selection of his career.
