GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's volleyball team opens its 2026 campaign at home Tuesday evening, welcoming Bryn Mawr College to Alumni Gymnasium.

Last season, the Knights finished 14-14 overall and 3-4 in conference play, narrowly missing out on a playoff spot under fifth-year head coach Emily Poole.

Arcadia welcomes nine newcomers to the 2026 squad, all of whom will look to compete for an opportunity to make an immediate impact. The newcomers include libero Avery Bell; setters Kaitlyn Small and Katie Levin; hitters Mia Beckett, Katie Grimm, Raegan Oursler and Morgan Orsulak; and middles Alexandria Coleman and Kam Wertz.

The Knights return a trio of sophomore hitters in Anna Keer, Maddie Gavin Ruple and Alliy Kulas, while juniors Devon Young, Bryana Saenz, Sarah Baker and Julia Archelle bring additional experience and veteran leadership to the squad.

Three seniors return for the 2026 season, with Kailyn Riggi, Chana Rothschild and Hannah Sanchez looking to help lead the Knights back to the postseason.

Arcadia returns two All-MAC Freedom selections in Second Team honoree Rothschild and Honorable Mention selection Young. Young led the Knights offensively last season with 266 kills, averaging 2.69 kills per set, while Rothschild followed with 234 kills and a .342 hitting percentage. Saenz served as the team's primary setter, recording 627 assists.

The Knights were selected fifth in the 2026 MAC Freedom Coaches' Preseason Poll and will look to return to the MAC Freedom playoffs for the first time since 2023.
