DOYLESTOWN, Pa. – The Arcadia University equestrian team competed in a western show hosted by Delaware Valley College Sunday, which also included Penn State-Berks and Rowan University. The Knights placed third during the morning show before taking reserve high point honors with a second-place finish in the afternoon Sunday.
Senior
Hannah LeMunyon (Warminster, Pa.) placed 1 of 6 in Class 12B Intermediate II Horsemanship in the afternoon show, and in doing so qualified for western regionals. Sophomore
Jessa Karcher (Quakertown, Pa.) also placed first of six riders in Class 12B, Intermediate II Horsemanship in the afternoon show after placing second of six riders in the morning, while freshman
Catherine Esterly (Mertztown, Pa.) placed second of six in Class 12A Intermediate I Horsemanship during the morning
Junior
Lauren McNamara (Brick, n.J.) placed third out of six in Class 14, Advanced Horsemanship in the morning, while freshman
Megan Donovin (Broomall, Pa.) placed third of five in Class 12A Intermediate I Horsemanship in the morning show. Sophomore
Megan Conley (Perkasie, Pa.) placed second of six in Class 12B, Intermediate II Horsemanship in the afternoon show after placing third of five in the same event in the morning.
Freshman
Casey Marcks (Scranton, Pa.) placed second of six in Class 12B Intermediate II Horsemanship, while junior
Danielle Fanelli (Basking Ridge, N.J.) placed third of seven in Class 14, Advanced Horsemanship. Both of those performances were during the afternoon show.
The Knights will next compete at the Arcadia Alumni English Show Saturday at Red Wing Farms starting at 8 a.m.
