GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia University equestrian team had three riders place second in their respective disciplines at the Franklin & Marshall Spring English Show Sunday.
Sophomore
Jessa Karcher (Quakertown, Pa.) placed second of eight riders in Beginner Walk, Trot, Canter, while classmate
Raelyn McAfee (Schwenksville, Pa.) placed second of eight in Walk Trot. Freshman
Casey Marcks (Scranton, Pa.) placed second of six riders in Advanced Walk, Trot, Canter and finished third of seven in Cross Rail Equitation.
Sophomore
Megan Conley (Perkasie, Pa.) placed fourth in Cross Rail Equitation, while freshman
Valerie Wilson (Sudlersville, Md.) placed fourth in Advanced Walk, Trot, Canter.
Also competing were teams from Bucks County Community College, Chestnut Hill College, Delaware Valley College, Gwynedd Mercy University, LaSalle University, Penn State Berks, Rider University, Rowan University, West Chester University and the Alumni team.
Arcadia will next compete in its final English show of the regular season Marsh 2 at the West Chester University.
