WEST CHESTER, Pa. – Sophomore Kathryn Boosz (West Chester, Pa.) placed first of the eight riders in Advanced Walk, Trot, Canter as the Arcadia University equestrian team closed at the 2013-14 regular season at the West Chester English Show Sunday.
 
Other highlights of the day included freshmen Valerie Wilson (Sudlersville, Md.) and Paige Brooks (Harleysville, Pa.) placed second and third, respectively, in Cross Rail Equitation, while classmate Catherine Esterly (Mertztown, Pa.) placed third in Beginner Walk, Trot, Canter. Junior Ruth Stetler (Dillsburg, Pa.) placed fourth in Novice Flat.
 
Also competing in the show were teams from Bucks County Community College, Delaware Valley College, Gwynedd Mercy University, Penn State-Berks, Rider University, Rowan University, West Chester University, and the Alumni riders.
 
Sophomore Amanda Rogowyi (Humleville, Pa.) will represent Arcadia at English Regionals, which will take place Friday at Delaware Valley College.
