HILLTOWN, Pa. – The Arcadia University equestrian team hosted the Arcadia Alumni English/Hunt Seat Show Saturday at Red Wing Farm, its first Hunt Seat/English show of the 2013-14 season.
 
Junior Katelyn Binder (Feasterville, Pa.) had an impressive showing at Class 3 Novice Flat as she placed third of eight riders, while sophomore Raelyn McAfee (Schwenksville, Pa.) placed second of four riders at Class 1 Walk/Trot. Freshman Casey Marcks (Scranton, Pa.) placed third of seven Class 2B Intermediate Walk, Trot, Canter.
 
Freshman Samantha Wright (Delmar, N.Y.) was one of four Knights to put in a top-three performance in Class 2A Beginner Walk, Trot, Canter, placing second of five in her round.  Freshman Megan Donovin (Broomall, Pa.) placed third of five, while sophomore Jessa Karcher (Quakertown, Pa.) and freshman Catherine Esterly (Mertztown, Pa.) both placed third out of six. 
 
The team will next host the Arcadia English Show November 2 at Red Wing Farm.
