LITITZ, Pa. – Freshman
Shannon Scott (Westminster, Md.) won her class of nine riders in Advanced Walk, Trot, Canter as the Arcadia University equestrian team competed at the Penn State Berks Hunt Seat Show Sunday. Classmate
Valerie Wilson turned in a pair of top-three finishes, placing second in cross rails and third in advanced walk, trot, canter.
Freshmen
Megan Donovin (Broomall, Pa.) and
Sarah Doran (Coventry, Conn.) placed third in their respective classes of beginner walk, trot canter.
Junior
Ruth Stetler (Dillsburg, Pa.) posted a third-place finish in over fences, while freshman
Casey Marcks (Scranton, Pa.) took home a third-place finish in cross rails.
Also competing at the show was Bucks County Community College, Delaware Valley College, Franklin & Marshall College, Gwynedd Mercy College, LaSalle University, Penn State Berks, Rider University, Rowan University, West Chester University, York College.
The Knights will next compete in a Western Show at Penn State Berks Saturday, November 16.
