GLENSIDE, Pa. – The seventh-seeded Arcadia University women's soccer team will look to capture its first-ever ECAC Division III South Championship Sunday when it travels to top-seeded Stevenson University. The championship match is schedule for a 1 p.m. start.

ABOUT ARCADIA: The Knights are 13-4-5 entering the match following their semifinal win over sixth-seeded Swarthmore. Junior Km Canfield leads the team in scoring with 15 goals and a team-best 12 assists for 42 points, while freshman
Lennon Kramer ranks second with a team-leading 17 goals with four assists for 38 points. Senior
Fatima Elmedkhar has six goals and five assists for 17 points. Senior keeper
Jackie Law is 11-4-5 for the season with six shutouts, a 0.73 goals against average and a .845 save percentage. She's totaled 82 saves while allowing just 15 goals in her 22 appearances.
ABOUT STEVENSON: The Mustangs enter the match with an overall record of 14-8-2 after tying Grove City and advancing on penalty kicks. Freshman forward Alexis Siejack leads the team in scoring with 16 goals and four assists for 36 points. Senior midfielder Mackenzie Calhoun is second on the team in scoring with eight goals and three assists for 19 points, while junior midfielder Meaghan Williams is third with five goals and a team-best eight assists for 18 points. Freshman keeper Annie McCoach is 9-6-1 with four shutouts, a 0.96 goals against average and a .762 save percentage. She's stopped 48 shots on goal with 15 goals against in her 18 appearances.
HOW THEY GOT HERE: Arcadia upset second-seeded McDaniel College 3-1 in the quarterfinals, getting one goal and one assist from Canfield, and then blanked sixth-seeded Swarthmore College 1-0 with the lone goal being scored by Kramer. Stevenson opened the tournament with a 1-0 as Siejack scored the lone goal of the game and then advanced on penalty kicks 7-6 in the ninth round after playing fourth-seeded Grove City College to a 2-2 draw through 110 minutes.
LAST MEETING: The two teams played to a scoreless tie back on October 12 at Arcadia's Easton Field. Both teams had 14 total shots in the match. The Mustangs had a 9-6 advantage in shots on goal, while the Knights held a 4-3 edge in corner kicks.
ARCADIA IN THE POSTSEASON: The Knights are playing for school's first-ever ECAC championship in any sport after Arcadia was admitted as an ECAC member for the first time for this academic year. The last time the women's soccer team won a championship of any kind was winning the 2005 Pennsylvania Athletic Conference title. Arcadia's last team championship in any sport was when the men's soccer team captured the 2006 PAC title.
