NEWTOWN, Pa. – Sophomore
Amanda Rogowyi (Humleville, Pa.) placed third in her class of Novice Fences as the Arcadia University equestrian team competed at Sunday's hunt seat show that was hosted by Bucks County Community College, Gwynedd Mercy College and LaSalle University, and in doing so qualified for the regional championships in the spring.
Freshman
Sarah Doran (Coventry, Conn.) placed in her class of Beginner Walk, Trot, Canter, while classmates
Paige Brooks (Harleysville, Pa.) and
Shannon Scott (Westminster, Md.) placed second in their respective classes of Advanced Walk, Trot, Canter.
Junior
Ruth Stetler (Dillsburg, Pa.) placed second in her class in Novice Flat and sophomore
Raelyn McAfee (Schwenksville, Pa.) placed second in her class of Walk, Trot. Freshman
Valerie Wilson (Sudlersville, Md.) placed third in her class in Cross Rails, while classmate
Casey Marcks (Scranton, Pa.) placed fourth.
Also competeing in the show were Delaware Valley College, Franklin & Marshall College, Penn State Berks, Rider University, Rowan University, West Chester University and York (Pa.) College.
The Knights will next compete at the Arcadia Alumni Western Show December 1 at Red Wing Farm.
