Box Score GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia University men's lacrosse team dropped a 13-3 Freedom Conference contest to visiting Eastern University Wednesday afternoon at Easton Field. The Eagles improved to 9-4 overall and 3-0 in conference play with the win, while the loss dropped the Knights to 5-5 overall and 1-1 on conference play.
Eastern opened the game with a five goal run that included two goals from senior Andy Jameson (State College, Pa.) before Freshman
James Boland (Hillsborough, N.J.) got Arcadia on the board with just nine seconds left in the second quarter. The Eagles then exploded for seven goals in the third quarter to put the game out of reach.
Junior Grant Ferguson (Rochester, N.Y.) led Eastern with four goals and one assist, while classmate Dave Darling (San Diego, Calif.) netted two goals with a game-high three assists. Jameson and junior Eric Waibel (West Grove, Pa.) finished the game with two goals each. Senior Pat Groschan (Cockeysville, Md.) made six saves to earn the decision in net, improving his record to 9-4.

Jordan Culichia (Pittsburgh, Pa.) allowed 12 goals while making eight saves through three quarters as his record fell to 4-5, while classmate
Ryan O'Leary (Millstone Township, N.J.) allowed one goal with two stops in the fourth quarter.
Eastern outshot Arcadia 50-15 in the game, had a 29-15 advantage in ground balls and won 11-of-19 faceoffs. The Knights were not called for a single penalty in the game, and were 1-for-5 with the extra man.
Arcadia will look to bounce back on Saturday when it travels to DeSales University for a 1 p.m. Freedom Conference contest.
